I am also one of the unfortunate souls that? has become a slave to the demon ‘methadone’. I ‘m only taking it so I wont get withdrawals. Trying to find something to help me get off without withdrawal. I’ve found that Kratom might work, Backlofen , Ibogaine (very risky) ,and that’s pretty much it. I’ve talked to the Doc at the methadone clinic and they wont prescribe anything to help w/withdrawal witch is fucking shitty. they just say keep taking methadone and it’s ruined my life completely.
The biggest mistake I made was getting on methadone to get off of opiates…. now I am? stuck on the methadone and its hard to get off of….
The best way dude, since you’re already sick is just to go cold turkey. I did it, from 130 mg. It was miserable but i don’t really believe in tapering methadone because you’re miserable either way. And the day? i felt good and was through it, i felt amazing. It was hell, but it’s sooo worth it. Good luck.

The benzos are indeed a depressant? and they also literally decrease your IQ, ie will make you dumber and eventually lead to loss of memory and early mental deterioration. They are not to be taken lightly, I have worked with elderly in nursing homes who have been on them for anxiety and are now in diapers and almost retarded. Seriously.
I have been weening for about 9 months and got down to 30 mg with a good deal of comfort and toleration of WDs at that level, of course I’ve had some very bad days. I am now on no methadone and 45 mg of oxycodone a day and still can’t sleep and feel like total shit at day 4. You would think after only 30 mg a day it wouldn’t be that bad. It doesn’t stick to you ribs it accumulates in your liver and has a long half life. So it will be several days before you even heat? peak WDs.
