AMEN TO THAT! I take mine correctly & have done so for many years. The states I lived in do not allow doctors to prescribe methadone in most cases – you must go to a methadone clinic. They do urine screens,mandatory counseling, doctor visits,lots of other ways to ensure no diversion of meds. This drug allows people to work & live almost normal lives? w/o buying drugs on street. Sorry for deaths, but don’t punish us who do as directed to live a decent life. We aren’t criminals.
also, ANYTHING can be improperly prescribed. some medications more than others, but this should lead to proper? INSTRUCTION on usage and SAFEGUARDS (maybe a second doctor check dosage or the pharmacist), not slamming the drug itself.
i literally just swalled my nighttime dose. when you have cancer-level pain around the clock to the point of? desiring suicide, this painkiller is a lifesaver AND once you are adjusted & take it as prescribed, you do NOT get high AT ALL! anything can be abused, and for every person who abuses it, there are several legitimate sufferers who are denied access for fear of abuse.

listen people look at every kind of drug on here there is pretty much? a dark side to all of them which concludes what i always say too much of Anything can kill you.Its just like gun control or alcohol its Not the drugs that are doing all the killings it is the people who misuse them either accendental or Not thats why it is always good to be infrom and aware of all the things you may take.Remember drugs were made to help us.

I agree with you 100% Ive been on pain meds for about 12 years the last 2 years Methadone.I dont believe one pill can? kill either.It is a wonderful medicine if used correctly and it is also not for everybody some can have allergic reactions.
I? also have serious injuries that includes a lethal tooth decay desiese in my mouth that i’ve been trying to save up to fix its just been very hard latley saving the money for it all because it is expensive even with dental insurance but i dont have health insurance and the pain medication i take does help me when the pain becomes too Intense for me to handle but i always take it correctly and thats important not everyone can just deal with serious injuries it can get worst without meds.
Man these pain medications do nothing for the pain it just gives you a euphoria, I have chronic pain from a gun shot and a motorcycle accident? best way is to deal with the pain
Well people who take it wrong or try to sell it in the streets do diserve to be punish but those people who supposely were taking the pill as prescribed and still died from it sounds very unlikey to me it’s? very hard to die from just 15mg of methadone these people most likey had reactions to this medication and did not call for help because most were asleep and they died.When use correctly methadone can be very effective for pain and withdraw.
methadone is hard to get off really hard but one pill can t kill mabey if u are sick or someting overreaction i was? taking 11pills at day i know friends that took 30 even 40 pills sometimmes plane overreaction
