Well good luck getting out of? the program……smh
I just got into the Methadone program and I’m really thankful to my doctor who made it come true! I’m saying this because where I live, it’s truly hard to get prescription for it.
A month ago I tried for the 4th time to get into the program and FINALLY? I got in!
i agree methadone should be a last resort thinks like buprenorphine and dihydrocodeine should be tried first diamorphine would appropiatly be given for iv heroin addiction but for prescription pill addiction in most cases diamorphine would make the addiction worse and so does methadone in a lot of cases but right now? methadone is the only viable option in america for severly addicted people with high tolerances dihydrocodeine would be more appropriate for oxycodone addiction
i think that they should make dihydrocodeine available for office based treatment like buprenorphine like they do in other countries but as of now methadone is the only option for many people that have? too high of a tolerance for buprenorphine people that need 30 to 40 mg of methadone buprenorphine wont take away the withdrawl at least not for more than a few months
thats ridiculous methadone is a rigorously well tested and safe medication for the use of opoid addiction it saves millions of lives and heightens the quality of life of so many people ?
I dont believe in? Methadone. It is a dangerous drug that should be banned.
