Please keep such stupidity 2 yourself unless u know what u r speaking of, as your comment 2 Brian is absurd. As Brian states, & is correct, methadone does have a 24 hr half life! Meaning that 1/2 the dose is still actively in your system 24 hrs later. So, he would have had at least 50 mgs left. Please, try applying some common courtesy,? and consider having some common sense, before speaking or posting the next time.

Try 2 ignore idiots like the one u replied 2 & focus on u, as they have no idea! Best of luck 2 u, as methadone is no joke! I’ve been on & off 4 approx.8 yrs & am finally successfully tapering off of this crap. Currently, I’m being prescribed pill form from? my doctor & going down 10mg.’s a month. (I was at 150 mg.s of liquid at my highest at the clinic) Anyways, I wish u the best & will continue watching u on your journey 2 recovery!

I wish I would’ve just quit the? pills instead of going to methadone. Although its helped, it does control your life.

you dont start getting sick till the 7th day…weak story…stay clean? people..been on methadone 41 years..at 64 yrs old now..doing okay….you kids today..try ibogain!!…or AA/na…whatever works..good luck guy..

They switched me from Morphine to Methadone about a year ago. It is from hell. Never was like oh when is my next dose of morphine, but this stuff has me bad. I freak? if i leave the house without any on me. I’m constantly thinking about my next dose. It’s awful!!! I have a bone disease. Will never be off pain pills, but I hope I get something diff soon.

i should also say i been on that level of dosing for two years because i could get it , ive gone three or four days at certain points , its been a while though , usually? tue and all day till evening wedensday, but ive made my bed i guess i just gotta keep on day by day , im just determined to stop
