I mean you have to go everyday…what happens if you stop. You will still have cravings for one or the other…its makes no since to me…explain please.

i am concerned that he is experincing extreame sleepiness and respitory depression. his breathing is slow and deep. and he wants to sleep all the time. is this a normal side effect from the methadone or withdraw from the opitate? or should i be concerned that it is perhaps an overdose? i know they monitor the intake of methadone that he is given, i’m just concerned and i don’t know much about the drugs.

I am on about 100 mg of methadone daily, and I reallllllllly want to get off- I drive 45 min to a clinic EVERY DAY and it sucks, plus the side effects are bothering me- ne way, i really want to get off but I am afraid of the withdrawal, and I want to do it fast. I have to do it at home (no insurance). Is there a way?

My friend is on day 3 of quitting “cold turkey”. He is extremely agitated, sweating, and looks awful. How long will this last? PS-He is on my couch!! Serious answers only please….
