I have recently become a medical mystery. I have numbness, memory loss, blurred vision at times, clumsiness , ringing in the ear, and a spot on my leg that I have had since I was 9 (now 23) which dr’s have never been able to figure out what it is. All of this is on my other symptoms I have had for the past 3 years and have had MRIs and CTs that have all been negative for MS. I do not have any other neuro diseases. My dad was taking synthetic methadone when my mom got pregnant with me, could this have anything to do with it? And if so what could it lead to? What is it that I could have?

i was recently on loartabs for pain and found out that i was dependant on them. so i started to go to the methadone clinic to wean off this addiction. i havent taken any pain medication since i started the treatment. ever since the treatment started, i have noticed that my sex drive is way down and i can not have a orgasm and can not perform at all since ive been on methadone…has anyone ever had this problem and will everything go back to normal if i stop taking this drug. i know i cant cold turkey but i plan on cutting way down and then cold turkey…any help please

I am currently taking 2-3mg of Xanax a day (percribed). I am also addicted to Oxycontin. I have been taking 80-160mg whenever I can get it. Usually every other day for 2 years. I am going to a Methadone Clinic Monday. And I am wondering if they will perscribe me the Methadone scince I am taking Xanax. If I go in Monday will they be able to give me a dose that same day? I am going through withdrawls this weekend. I need help getting off the Oxys, and am very serious about quiting, but don’t have insurance to go to doctor, or espically rehab. Can the methadone really help if i’m very serious about quitting. I’ve heard alot of mixed thing on methadone, i’m just scared cause i really need my xanax on somedays. Thank You

We have learned a great deal about recovering from narcotic addiction and have found several methods that work well. This is information drug treatment programs would not want out since it would cause them to lose a large number of patients (and fees). Would it be better to start with a blog or a website? We eventually hope to make this into an alternative business that would help people get of methadone clinics. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as there is a dire need for this information. Thank you.
