My husbands cousin when into a cardiac arrest and it took the doctors 15 minutes to revive him. He went into a comma right after. We dont exactly know what happened and how he got there. What the girlfriend told us is that he was taking prescription drugs and drinking alcohol with them. I believe he was taking 7pills at a time. Narcotic painkillers, muscle relaxers . I believe he wanted to go into detox and the doctors gave him a detox pill. i believe it was methadone. The doctors dont know if thats what did it or if he mixed it with another pill. While in the comma his heart stopped again and it took 10mins to revive him again this time. His heart is beating, but not moving or breathing, he has not open his ayes.He went into a comma 15 days ago from today 1/27/2009. The machines are doing everything for him. Do you think that there is a chance of him living? the family think that there is hope and that he can come back with prayers.
