try taking walks and slowly increasing the distance each day. Not only will your body create natural pain killers to help with the detox but exercise increases energy.

It takes time–methadone is a very long acting drug and the symptoms you have after stopping treatment can last for weeks and months instead of days.

A lot has to do with how you tapered off–most people taper too rapidly and wind up feeling bad for months.

I was on methadone for awhile and I was slowly weaned off of it, and my doctor put me on an iron supplement that i still take daily and it helps, i also drink green tea throughout the day to stay awake…

Try taking a multi-vitamin, or eating healthier, it really does have an impact on your energy levels.

Energy drinks only give you a bit of quick and non-lasting energy.

Perhaps a women’s or men’s energy multivitamin every day might help. They contain extra B vitamins for energy.
