A Question on Haloperidol?

Question by Ryan: A question on Haloperidol?
I have just been put on Haloperidol for Opioid withdrawal. Is it sedating/tranquilizing? Does it make you drowsy/sleepy? What type of side effects does it have: serious and non-serious? Is it like Chlorpromazine or Trifluoperazine? What are your individual experiences with this drug? What does it do to your mood? Does it slow you down? How powerful is it? Does it mess with your head? I have been prescribed 5mg three times a day. I am currently using 600mg of Codeine Phosphate a day. I’ve also used Mophine (by the needle and by tablet), Oxycontin, Buprenorphine, Fentanyl, Methadone, Doloxene and Tramal. But I’m not on that stuff now, just the Codeine. I’ve been on 600mg a day for 2 years. Am I to expect hallucinations coming off the Opiate? Please tell me YOUR personal experiences, aswell as experiences of other people that you know of (family/friends/associates/aquaintances.etc. I need as much information as possible.
I’m looking for heavy sedation and tranquilization. Will I get this by using this drug? Any information from any source will be helpful. I have some benzodiazepines to help me too. Valium, Ativan, and Clonazepam. Tomorrow I will be getting some Xanax and Bromazepam. So please, anyone/anybody that can give me any insight into Haloperidol, come forward and share your knowledge with me. Many thanks.

Adhd Medications, Need Answers Asap?

Question by Ashley F: adhd medications, need answers Asap?
put on a new drug called CONCERTA ER AT 36 MG ONCE DAILY IN THE AM. I have severa adhd that stems from childhood. as far as I can remmber would be like the 3rd grade. I was never medicated as a child.
It was never brought up as a child. I guess my parents either A) Didnt notice it, or thought i was just being a “normal child” …..OR….B)It wasnt severe, and I only had few symptoms.

I been on this new drug about 4 or 5 days. The first day i felt great. able to really focus and concentrate. But eventually made me sick, cuz it knocks out your appettite. It makes you not want to eat at all. then you start feeling sick.
