Question by Melissa T: My husband is on Methadone and has NO SEX DRIVE!! Is this common?
He has been on Methadone for 6 months now and he has no interest in having sex with me at all. At first I thought, maybe he is cheating but he never goes anywhere without me, then I thought it must be me, but i am not ugly by any means. He tells me it must be the Methadone, he is never in the mood.. He has no problem once we get started (if I force him to do it) staying “ready” but it is just getting him to even want to do anything, is a chore itself. I need help, I am 30 and in my PRIME.. So I can’t be satisfied with this once every 6 weeks thing it is just not working out for me at all.. ANY SUGGESTIONS on why it may be doing this to him? And ways I may be able to “get him in the mood”. I have tried having him come home from work and me be at the door naked, I have tried the car trick. (which does work but only for him) I have tried strip tease. I am at the point to where i may actually be pushing him away more cause i am always asking him for it. HELP!!!!!!

Cymbalta works very good for most people with lupus or fibromyalgia pain.

Not being an MD, I cannot speak to medications,
but generally, I’ve found that lubricants such as KY,
vasoline and oils are desensitising to the point of
making ejaculation difficult.

Also, masturbating b4 tends to extend the time it
takes to ejaculate again.
