@BizzareCorpse I live in Philly, never been arrested, but I worked at a
large (the largest) methadone clinic in Philly and I have talked to dozens
of people. There is dope in the rural counties. They drive down to Philly,
but a brick ($500, 60 bags) and sell them for $30 a piece. In PA you go to
state prison for anything above 23.5 months. I know a girl who did time in
Lehigh country and celled with a girl who got caught with 1 bag of dope and
got 11 1/2 to 23, just under state time 1st offense.
not typical? tell that to the hundreds who line up at these clinics in
vancouver’s downtown eastside each morning, all in the same wretched
condition
Can I ask a serious question? What experience do you have regards opiate
addiction apart from interviewing these people?
haha really, it’s our govt’s old if you can’t beat them join the fuck out
of them. They can’t beat heroin or tax it sooooo………We just setup
clinics with shit that is 1 million times harder to beat than heroin with a
half life of over 3 times as long and a total comedown of over 6-8 weeks
total. Heroin has a statistic for quitting, show me the statistics for
quitting methadone……I’ll wait……OH YEAH, the numbers are so low they
will not post them. It doesn’t happen and its replacement.

@BizzareCorpse Tolerance increases incredibly fast. I have heard of people
picking up after years of sobriety and within a week are doing 5 bags a day
and two weeks or so and it’s a bundle a day. Heroin lies in every
conceivable way. It tells you it’s cheap, when it’s expensive, it tells you
it feels good and then makes you feel like shit every day and becomes a
full time job, Heroin even lies about what it is… Heroin is a pro-drug,
it is metabolized into morphine before it hits your receptors
@EdinAmmar agreed, methadone saved many people I know from sure deth. A
friend who use to live on the street and rob people now has a job and
works, and is buying his first house. Methadone saved his life.

combative. I was just trying to gain more perspective on the video. Things
are somewhat different where I am, but is are still a large failure rate.
You don’t really hear about success stories, because the stigma of
methadone could threaten their ‘success’

nopoint doing heroin while on methadone….you dont feel it at all. benzos
and methadone is a deadly mix….that shit puts you on the nod and its
highly adictive. iv been dropping down my dose of methadone over the last
year from 90mgs to 30mgs and everything is alot clearer. Didnt notice how
bad it was effecting me till now. Methadone did save my life but iv been
stu ckon it for 5 years and cant wait to be free of the shit.
@gregryf With all due respect, being on methadone is not ‘staying clean’
dont give addicts methadone to take away.must be taken in chemist. like me
it sold it for smack.
@BizzareCorpse Fentanyl is also unpredictable and has different effects on
different people. I also read the fentanyl has derivatives that an amateur
chemist messing with it can accidentally make that makes the fentanyl
hundreds of times more powerful than morphine, compared to it’s normal 80x.
Even heroinhelper com recommends you stay away from it.
most clinics are pay from the pocket. Why get upset about your tax-dollars
any-ways you can’t do anything about it.
I have been on methadone for 2 years and hate it…I am down to 40mgs a day
and trying to slowly wean myself off. I got fat, can’t get a hard on and
sweat like a fuckin pig..I hate it personally, but i suppose it beats the
alternative.
Methadone blocks the receptors so heroin won’t get them high… :> Only an
idiot would do both….
