i have to agree…. though, a lot of clinics will fight you on it and try to scare you away from being a revolving door patient by saying you’re not “stable” enough yet to leave the clinic. then after you’re there for about 6 months, they say you’re stable. but by then it’s too late to just stop taking it. its unfortunate that most clinics will keep you? there as long as possible.

That’s completely false. The only reason methadone was? made by the germans during WW2 was because they had a short supply of opiates. It wasn’t made to “control” the population. It’s really a good thing, it makes a lot of peoples lives manageable .
