you have drug tests weekly? Not where I go! once a month is all it is. I’m telling you my clinic does not care about the people. They care about the money that’s it. I see a “counselor” twice a month. and this counselor is so burnt she can’t think straight! She used to go to this clinic I go to. She has a criminal history a mile long and I say she owes this clinic for helping her when she was in trouble. Now she scams the damn? addicts for these people. Not me anymore!
Not at the place I go! They try their best to talk you out of decreasing and when they do it’s 1.5 or 2.5 but damn if you want an increase it’s like oh yeah here you? go and up you go 10mg. Oh and the long wait for a decrease after they agree. Not with an increase tho. It’s right there!
That’s the thing. You are NOT clean! What is your definition of clean? No heroin? What’s heroin? an opiate. What’s methadone? an opiate. Now if these places really wanted to get you off drugs they would do it not putting you on a replacement opiate. I should know. I go to one of these clinics and I have just opened my eyes. I was in a fog for 7 months but no more. I see what? goes on at these clinics. No better than a drug dealer only this one has a license!

I am going in there thursday and demanding a 21 day detox. If they give me hell I will fight because I know my rights. I had been in a fog since oct. 2012. I am just starting to wake up to what these clinics are like. I wasn’t allowed to see the doctor because they thought I was going to? ask for a decrease yet they tell you they can’t stop you from decreasing. Huh? I despise methadone clinics! I am nothing like those people that go there!
You are so right! Methadone clinics ought to be illegal. They are nothing more than legal drug dealers. I go to one. I was so stupid for starting. I was addicted to prescription pain meds. I didn’t want to keep being addicted.? I sought help. Found my way to a clinic and was the worst mistake of my life! I am slowly waking up to what a scam this place is. They try to keep you on THEIR drug as long as they can. They don’t want you to get off the drug. They would lose money!
