yes I have a similar story I had back problems and was prescribed oxycontin for years , and I was so addicted to it , that I would get my script for a month and it would be gone in 7 to 10 days , and that was just all on my? own. Now I got into the methadone clinic 4 years ago , and it was the best thing that ever happened to me I am so sick of hearing about the people that abuse methadone There are more people out there that it helps , but u don’t hear about them cause it’s not newsworthy
Well apparently methadone is a full opiate agonist?? whereas suboxone/subutex is a partial opiate agonist, meaning methadone fully covers your opiate receptors and subs only partially cover them, meaning less withdrawl from suboxone. Ive done it both ways and found subs easier but I guess it also depends on the person. Also to switch from methadone to subs you have to go 48 hours without any methadone (once down to a dose of 25ml) or you will get horrible instant withdrawls
I totally agree…….it wreaks total havoc on teeth. basically, it isn’t? the syrup in the drug, as injectable methadone or tablets are just as bad on the teeth. It dries saliva, and seems to make it more acidic…..really awful for teeth. BTW, surely it should be the MUM who talks…but I think the daughter has sneaked a bit, due to the amount of endless talking! And Darth Vader is in the background…..fffffffffffffffhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaa,,,fffffffffff

Jokes aside though I would undoubtably be dead or in prison? right now if it weren’t for methadone.
It is tricky to come off but if u reduce slowly then switch to subs when ur dose is low enuf it’s not too bad. Try going cold turkey from 60mls in jail. Now that’s tough
methadone has saved my life, no question about it. for 15 years i used drugs intravenously, taking no precautions? for sterile use. somehow i didn’t get a permanent disease from this behavior. i am 62 and have been on m for hlf my life. this doesn’t bother me. i was a mess before methadone. it cooled out my life, and now i pay taxes, raise a lovely family, married 27 years. i started on methadone in 1982. it was my choice, and i choose to keep taking it. it has made life tolerable for me.
imreally proud ov ur mum and u welldone theyres not a lot ov sucess stories and people are quick to shoot u down n drug use taints u for life ur mother n me have a lot in common im 5 yrs nrly on it n it has such a neggative press,this saved my life n my family FACT i live a normal life n would not be hear without it im a good person,hardworking,honest n a better mother bcus ov it i totally? am feeling ur mum n u n feel like having a cry when i saw ur vid u really are the voice ov us all thank u x

DON’T WATCH YOUTUBE VIDEOS FOR INFORMATION got fuks sake DO THE RESEARCH YOURSELF! would you walk up to a stranger on the street to ask for medical advice? no, i didn’t think so. so don’t go to youtube in search of info on methadone.
